
On October 28, late actor Miura Haruma's agency announced that his memorial event has been postponed to next year.
The announcement states, "Regarding Miura Haruma's memorial event, we had been making adjustments to carry it out within the year, but after repeated consideration, we have decided to postpone it until next year."
They continued, "Our company has explored every possibility while considering various circumstances such as the coronavirus situation and venue matters. In addition, we have received many opinions from fans daily regarding their worries about holding the event during the coronavirus disaster as well as its timing."
Various works that Miura had been involved in, including the special drama 'Taiyou no Ko,' the drama series 'Okane no Kireme ga Koi no Hajimari,' and his second single "Night Diver," have continued to be released after his passing in July with more works pending release in the near future.
Finally, they said, "After comprehensive consideration of the situation, we will aim to hold the event in July of 2021 after the works that artist Miura Haruma have been involved in as well as his feelings that went into them, have been delivered to everybody. We will inform you of the details again."
