On January 24, actor Suda Masaki appeared on NTV's variety program 'Gyouretsu no Dekiru Houritsu Soudanjou' where he revealed his celebrity crush when he was a middle school student.
In a section of the program called 'Geinoukai Hatsukoi Grand Prix' ('Showbiz First Love Grand Prix'), Suda revealed that his "first love" was actress Nagasawa Masami, who played the heroine in the drama 'Propose Daisakusen' ('Operation Love'). When the drama aired, Suda was in middle school and used to impersonate her in front of his classmates.
Suda shared, "I like Nagasawa-san's voice. I had a classmate who sounded just like her, so I had a little crush on her."
Ten years later, Suda co-starred with Nagasawa in the movie 'Gintama.' When asked about his first impression of her, he responded," Of course, when we were on set, we were just actors, but when I went home, I was like, 'Wow, I'm working with Nagasawa Masami...' I don't really feel that way about other people, but my heart skips a beat with Nagasawa-san."
Suda apparently told Nagasawa that he's a fan of hers. "Shyly, I told her, 'thank you...," he said.
