Kuraki Mai will be providing her new song "ZERO Kara Hajimete" as the opening theme for anime 'Meitantei Conan' ('Detective Conan') to commemorate its 1,000th episode.

This is Kuraki's 24th time providing a theme song for the 'Meitantei Conan' series. Her new song "ZERO Kara Hajimete" is said to give you a completely new image of Kuraki. She commented, "In order to stay beside Meitantei Conan, who powers up with a 'change of heart,' I created this song to have an upbeat tempo with momentum so that you will be able to have hope and not give up just like Conan-kun, who continues to stand up no matter how critical the situation becomes."

"ZERO Kara Hajimete" will be used in the anime beginning its March 6th broadcast. It will also be released digitally on that day.
