It's been reported that actress Takahashi Yumiko (47) has married a non-celebrity man. 

According to her agency, Takahashi and her husband submitted their marriage registration papers on April 1. Apparently, he is the same man that she was reported to be dating three years ago. She is not planning to hold a press conference regarding her marriage.

Known as the "last orthodox idol of the 20th century," Takahashi was extremely popular during the '80s and '90s. She has starred in various works including 'Minami-kun no Koibito' (TV Asahi), 'Saikou no Koibito' (TV Asahi), the 'Shomuni' series (Fuji TV), and NHK's Taiga drama 'Atsuhime.'
