L'Arc-en-Ciel's new song "Mirai" will be used as the opening theme for the online action RPG 'BLUE PROTOCOL.' 

Released digitally on May 31, "Mirai" is the band's first new song in four and a half years. They performed this song during their 30th anniversary live '30th L’Anniversary Starting Live ~L’APPY BIRTHDAY!~' on May 29 and 30 at Makuhari Messe. 

On the tie-up, hyde (Vo) commented, "After watching the story and footage, I felt that this song had a fantastic compatibility. I think the lyrics nicely link fans, who looked forward to our 30th year amid the coronavirus pandemic, to BLUE PROTOCOL's story."
