It's been announced that The Birthday's Chiba Yusuke (Vo, G) has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and will be taking a break to devote himself to treatment. 

The Birthday was scheduled to participate in various live events, including the rock festival 'ARABAKI ROCK FEST.23' this weekend, as well as hold their live tour 'xxK Forever Quattro×Quattro Tour'23' in June. However, everything has been canceled due to his situation. 

On The Birthday's social media accounts, it states, "We apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to all persons who were planning to attend, all performers who we were supposed to share the stage with and all other persons concerned. It would make us happy if you would please watch over us until the day we can make a new announcement."
