Actor Kengo Kora (36) and talent Kanako Tahara (30) have announced that they will be getting married and are expecting a baby together. 

In a joint message, the couple stated: 

"We, Kengo Kora and Kanako Tahara, will be getting married. 

Before I knew it, I was saved many times by her cheerfulness, easy-going attitude, and warmth.

This year marks 20 years since I started acting. 

More than what kind of actor I want to be, I started thinking more about how I will spend my life going forward. During that time, I imagined a future with Kanako-san, who is always by my side.

I felt that with her, we could grow together and create an interesting life.

What makes us more happy than anything is that we have been blessed with a new life. From now on, we will cherish this new life while building a home together.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who have supported us and cheered us on until now. 

We are both immature, but it would make us happy if you would please continue to watch over us."
