It has been announced that imase will be taking a break from his activities for the time being. Following his first live performance at the Budokan on July 25, he had cancelled his scheduled appearance on August 1 at a special live event at the Osaka Expo.

According to the official statement, imase’s health deteriorated after the Budokan concert. After undergoing a medical examination, it was determined that he requires long-term treatment. As a result, all upcoming appearances in events and media have been cancelled in order to prioritize his recovery.

In line with this, imase has withdrawn from all music festival appearances from August onward. He has also stepped down from his regular spot on NHK-FM’s 'Music Line' and has suspended his regular column in 'MEN’S NON-NO' magazine until further notice.

imase shared, "I had always been on the move until now, so I was hesitant to take a break. However, under the guidance of my doctor, I’ve decided to focus on my recovery. I’m not very good at resting, but for the sake of my future, I want to take the time to properly rest now.”
