Singer Kumi Koda has announced that she is expecting her second child. As a result, she will postpone previously scheduled live performances and cancel her appearances at select events.

Koda’s agency, Avex Management, shared an update on her official website, stating, "Both mother and baby are currently doing well." The statement went on to say, "We kindly ask for your understanding as this decision has been made with the artist's health as our top priority."

With the health and safety of both mother and baby in mind, all dates for her nationwide tour, 'Koda Kumi Live Tour 2026 ~Kingdom~,' originally scheduled from June through October, have been postponed. In addition, she will no longer appear at 'Jigoro Rock 2026 supported by Nikaso,' to be held on April 25 at Oita Sports Park in Oita, and 'GREEN FLASH FES ’26,' scheduled for May 30 at Shibamasa World in Fukui. Details regarding ticket refunds for 'Koda Kumi Live Tour 2026 ~Kingdom~' will be announced at a later date.

Koda married BACK-ON's KENJI03 (MC, Vo, G) in December 2011, and the couple welcomed their first child in July 2012.
