To commemorate the 35th anniversary of L'Arc-en-Ciel, two collaboration whiskies will be released by Nagahama Distillery, a craft whisky distillery in Shiga Prefecture.
The two whiskies are designed to reflect the band's musical legacy through distinct flavor profiles. "LEGACY BLEND" offers a rich and layered taste, inspired by the band's 12 original albums and crafted from a complex blend of 12 different malt whiskies. Meanwhile, "RAINBOW NOTES" features a smooth finish created by blending seven whiskies to represent a rainbow, and is produced using an unique "music aging" process in which the band's 12 albums were played to the barrels during aging.
Both whiskies will be released on the band’s 35th anniversary, May 30. Advance reservations began on April 1 via Nagahama Roman Beer's online shop, Lawson's Loppi terminals, HMV&BOOKS online, and at HMV&BOOKS SHIBUYA in Tokyo. Orders will close once the limited quantities are sold out.
