YOSHIKI will perform the U.S. national anthem at Dodger Stadium on April 27 as part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' Japanese Heritage Night, presented by Daiso.
The performance will take place before the Dodgers face the Miami Marlins during Japanese Heritage Night, an annual event celebrating Japanese culture and traditions. YOSHIKI will perform a special arrangement.
He said, "I am deeply honored to return to Dodger Stadium and perform the national anthem of the United States, a country that has embraced my creative journey for nearly three decades. I approached this rendition as a cinematic fusion, blending a modern aesthetic with a classical operatic foundation while maintaining the utmost respect for the anthem’s tradition."
The appearance at Dodger Stadium comes before YOSHIKI's return to the U.S. stage this summer as part of his 'Classical 2026' concert series. He is set to headline The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 16 and 17 with two performances titled 'Scarlet Night' and 'Violet Night.' Each night will feature a different setlist. The concerts will mark YOSHIKI's first major U.S. performances since undergoing his third cervical spine surgery in late 2024.
