TH STAFF

YOSHIKI has been named a recipient of the "Medal of Honor" award presented by the Entertainment Community Fund.

This award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and entertainment industry. Established in 1910, its past recipients include Audrey Hepburn, Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, and Robert Redford. YOSHIKI will be the first Japanese artist to receive the honor.

In addition to his achievements as an artist, YOSHIKI has been recognized for his ongoing philanthropic efforts, including disaster relief and mental health support around the world. He donated $500,000 last year to support victims of wildfires in Los Angeles.

YOSHIKI is scheduled to attend the awards ceremony and gala on June 1 in New York, where he will also give a performance.

He commented, "I would like to dedicate this honor to everyone who has supported me, and to all artists who continue to challenge boundaries across cultures and genres.
